Writing about Simbian
- Write the company name as "Simbian", one word with a capital S. The legal entity is Simbian, Inc.
- Use the registered mark on first mention in formal copy: Simbian®.
- Simbian is one product in the self-improving defense category.
- Capitalize "Agent" in Agent names: AI SOC Agent, AI Pentest Agent, AI Detection Engineering Agent, AI Threat Hunt Agent, AI NetSecOps Agent.
- Context Lake™ and TrustedLLM™ are Simbian trademarks. Use the ™ on first mention.
- Refer to the benchmark as "the Cyber Defense Benchmark (Simbian)" on first mention.

Cyber Defense Benchmark
Simbian's published benchmark measures how well frontier AI models investigate real attacks on their own, scored tactic by tactic against MITRE ATT&CK. The leaderboard, methodology and results are public, and they are updated as new models ship.
Cite it as the Cyber Defense Benchmark (Simbian) and link to simbian.ai/research/cyber-defense-benchmark. Take figures from the benchmark page and include the date shown there, because results change as new models are added.

- Journalists, analysts, researchers, event organizers and partners may use the assets in this media kit to refer to Simbian in editorial, news, research or event material.
- Advertising, merchandise, product packaging, or any commercial use needs written permission from Simbian first. Email media@simbian.ai.
- Using these assets does not create a partnership, sponsorship or endorsement. Do not suggest that Simbian endorses or certifies your product, service or event unless we have agreed to it in writing.
Logo
Do
- Use the files from this page as supplied. Do not redraw, retype or recreate the logo.
- Use the white logo on dark or photographic backgrounds and the navy logo on white or light backgrounds. Make sure it stays clearly legible.
- Leave clear space around the logo on every side equal to at least half the logo's height.
- Keep the full logo at least 100 px wide on screen, or 25 mm in print. Below that, use the icon on its own.
- Scale the logo proportionally. If you need a larger file than the PNG provides, email media@simbian.ai.
Don't
- Change the colors, or recolor parts of the logo
- Stretch, squash, rotate, skew or outline it
- Add shadows, glows, gradients or other effects
- Separate or rearrange the icon and the word Simbian, or change the spacing between them
- Combine it with another logo into a single lockup
- Place it on a busy or low-contrast background
- Use it in your own product name, domain name or social media handle
Name and trademarks
- Simbian®, Context Lake™ and TrustedLLM™ are trademarks of Simbian, Inc. Do not use them in your own company, product or domain names.
- Do not alter, abbreviate or translate the name Simbian.
Leadership photos
- Use the photos only alongside coverage of Simbian or the person pictured.
- Credit them as "Courtesy of Simbian" where your publication credits images.
- You may resize or crop them. Do not otherwise retouch, composite or alter the person's appearance, and do not edit or extend them with generative AI tools.
- Check with us that a person's title is still current before using their photo in later coverage.
Facts, figures and quotes
- Quote figures exactly as they appear in the boilerplate, with the wording attached. For example, the 300+ figure counts enterprise environments in production, not customers.
- Do not combine figures, or calculate new ones from them, and present the result as a Simbian statistic.
- Quotes from Simbian press releases may be used with attribution to the named person and their title. For a new comment, contact the media team.
- For any figure not on this page, ask us before publishing it.
