Simbian Announces New Head of Partnerships to Grow its Channel and Meet Accelerating Global Demand for its AI Agent Solutions
I am pleased to welcome Norman Currie as Simbian’s new Head of Partnerships, leading our Channel and Technical Alliances organization. Norm officially joined the Simbian leadership team earlier this month and brings a distinguished career spanning over two decades in cybersecurity. He’s a results-driven leader known for developing global partnerships, operational excellence, and business growth. As Head of Partnerships, Norm will oversee both Channel Sales and Technical Alliances, leveraging his deep expertise in managed security services, SaaS solutions, and strategic go-to-market initiatives.
Norm has played pivotal roles in scaling businesses, fostering high-value alliances, and optimizing both partner and customer experiences. He has successfully led multi-million-dollar initiatives, including global leadership for channel enablement and pre-sales for the MSSP/SI/SP/OEM routes to market at McAfee, growing revenue from $15M to over $200M. He also led the inception and growth of managed security services at Accuvant (OPTIV), and spearheaded global CX and service organizations at industry-leading firms like Binary Defense, Hunters, Expel and ZeroFox.
After launching our channel program last year, Simbian has signed strategic relationships with various partners across the globe. Today we are 100-percent partner driven with all Simbian products sold through one of our partners. We also work closely with more than a dozen MSSPs. Security is going through a seismic change and there is strong awareness and demand for AI-based security due to the global talent shortage. Our VAR, MDR, MSSP, and Service Provider/System Integration partners work as our force multiplier in bringing the best of AI SOC to our customers.
With Norm at the helm, Simbian is building a world-class, partner-first GTM model that will make us the go-to AI agent technology platform for partnerships and alliances across the security landscape.
